Ordering Lengths – Supplied as One Continuous Piece

Matching lengths in the same order are combined into one continuous piece, up to the available roll length. For example, 2m × quantity 3 = one 6m piece. Ordering one 2m length and one 4m length of the same material also gives one 6m piece.

Product, colour, thickness, width, profile and diameter must match where applicable. Extra metres increase the length only; the listed width and other specifications stay the same. Sample pieces are excluded.

Need separate pieces or a continuous length longer than the largest option shown? Contact us before ordering to confirm availability and cutting instructions. We will contact you before cutting if one continuous piece is unavailable. Read our cut-to-length ordering guide.

10 mm foil-faced, self-adhesive foam for a quieter, more comfortable vehicle interior. Use it as an absorption and separation layer on suitable interior surfaces in cars, 4WDs, vans, caravans and boats. The 1 m wide roll is cut to the length you select.

Choose your length

Each option is 1 m wide: 1 m, 2 m, 4 m, 6 m, 8 m or 10 m long. For example, the 4 m option covers up to 4 m² before allowing for curves, cut-outs and trimming. Measure the areas you want to cover and allow extra for waste. See our guide to measuring sound deadening if you are unsure how much to order.

Where it works well

  • Floors, boots and cargo areas beneath the interior finish
  • Interior wheel-arch surrounds and suitable door areas with adequate clearance
  • Van, campervan and caravan interior fit-outs

The foam helps absorb airborne noise and separate interior layers. Its foil facing can contribute to thermal comfort when installed appropriately. For metal panel vibration, a dedicated damping layer serves a different purpose; see our material and coverage guide for the distinction.

Before installing

  1. Measure and test-fit each piece before removing the backing.
  2. Clean and dry the mounting surface; follow the adhesive's installation instructions.
  3. Cut to shape, peel the backing and press down firmly. Keep drains, vents, wiring access and moving parts clear.

Do not place this foam against exhaust components, turbochargers or other extreme-heat sources. Check clearance around trim and moving parts before ordering 10 mm thickness.
