Ordering Lengths – Supplied as One Continuous Piece

Matching lengths in the same order are combined into one continuous piece, up to the available roll length. For example, 2m × quantity 3 = one 6m piece. Ordering one 2m length and one 4m length of the same material also gives one 6m piece.

Product, colour, thickness, width, profile and diameter must match where applicable. Extra metres increase the length only; the listed width and other specifications stay the same. Sample pieces are excluded.

Need separate pieces or a continuous length longer than the largest option shown? Contact us before ordering to confirm availability and cutting instructions. We will contact you before cutting if one continuous piece is unavailable. Read our cut-to-length ordering guide.

6 mm foil-faced, self-adhesive foam for vehicle interior noise and comfort. Its lower profile suits spaces where you need room for carpet, vinyl or another interior finish. Use it as an absorption and separation layer on suitable surfaces in cars, 4WDs, vans and campervans.

Choose your length

Every option is 1 m wide. Select 1 m, 2 m, 4 m, 6 m, 8 m or 10 m long. A 4 m × 1 m piece covers up to 4 m² before allowing for curves, cut-outs and trimming. Measure the areas you want to treat and add an allowance for fitting. Our coverage guide shows how to estimate the quantity.

Suitable applications

  • Floors and cargo areas beneath an interior finish
  • Interior wheel-arch surrounds and door areas where clearance allows
  • Van and campervan interior fit-outs

The foam can help absorb airborne noise and separate layers. The foil facing can contribute to thermal comfort when installed appropriately. It is different from a dense panel-damping mat, which is designed to control metal vibration. Compare the material types in our sound-deadening guide.

6 mm or 10 mm?

Choose 6 mm where available space is limited or where another suitable lining will go over it. Consider 10 mm sound deadener where you have more clearance and want a thicker foam layer. Check trim fit, drainage and moving parts before deciding.

Installation notes

  1. Test-fit and cut the material before removing its backing.
  2. Clean and dry the mounting surface and follow the adhesive's installation instructions.
  3. Peel and press firmly, keeping vents, drains, wiring access and moving parts clear.

Do not install against exhaust components, turbochargers or other extreme-heat sources. Ask Swift Deals if you need help selecting a thickness or length for your project.
